Yes - It's bluetooth and just needs pairing

Yes. But in order for all keys to function you'll need >= 10.5.8 and the keyboard update (search apple for kb/HT3932), or >=10.6 (e.g; fn arrows for page up/down, home, end, delete, media transport)
