I've heard it has a great performance in mac environment but does magic mouse work properly with windows 7 ???

Not Really because the Drivers installed on Windows 7 don't match the magic mouse drivers how ever you can tweak your windows 7 to allow magic mouse to work as a point click mouse but you will need a blue tooth enabled PC
