Can you use this system to connect an i pad in the bedroom where the broadband does not reach

You will need the DHP-W307AV as it has wireless built in.

This is not possible with this unit. You would need the DHP-W307 which is a wireless powerline. This will then boost the wifi signal in the area you need it.
