Is the sound quality better if you use the P5s with a standalone DAC/amp, connected to an iPhone?
I know the P5s are made for iPhone and they have a high sensitivity rating. I am curious if there's some enhancement with a separate DAC/amp...

It is better, although the iPhone with P5s, by themselves, sound very close to using a standalone DAC/amp with them.

Being that the P5's are made for iphone listening they still are High End in audio and being that their specs and history of the company connecting them to a DAC/AMP will enhance the audio experience.
