Does the mic do a good job of pick up voice while screening out other sounds?

    Yes, for example if you were using these in conjunction with an iPhone 4s, In a busy background Siri will still comprehend your question if you speak directly into in the inline microphone. Make sure your mouth is facing the correct side though.

  • the mic is definitely strong in normal conditions, but, i can't vouch for use in noisy environments. I have the bose bluetooth headset and that is stunning in noisy environments, but it has 2 mics for active mic noise cancellation. I can't imagine these bose 15's do well in noisy environments, as the mic looks cheap and singular. generally, these headphones are pretty average in many regards.
