I haven't tried, but read that others used them for that. They might be big enough to prevent rolling whilst wearing them, but for sure them don't feel very resilient to breaking. Quite cheaply made as far as i can tell

You could sleep with them on with the back of your head against the pillow. But you might wake up the next morning with a lot of battery drainage. It's best to sleep with these on an airliner or bus, train etc while commuting .
