    Yes it works with ipad 3, I tried it with ampkit and garageband.

  • Got this answered by apogee live chat. Here is the answer I got:
    `We dont have an iPad3 here at apogee yet, but reports from the field are it works without a hitch`

  • Both my boys have the new iPad's(3) after reading the comments above I tried it on the iPad my self, it works fine.... No disconnection at all, and McQueen was detected immediately.
