Whats best for me, MacBook Air $1199 or MacBook Pro $1199?

I'm an student. I want a good computer, so I choosed a Mac. But there's a problem: i can't decide between the Macbook Pro $1199 model or the MC Air $1199 model. I like the portability of the MC Air, but the MC Pro is sightly better. For a user that doesn't uses too much graphics and resources, wgich mac would you recomend me? thanks
