how to make translation work easy on a mac?
I have a mac book pro about to die and I am beginning a career in translation. This requires to have access to all documents Word, Pages and to open specialized software that are not meant to run on a Mac. It has been a problem lately and I used crossover as a trial but now that the trial is over, I am left wondering if I should buy a new macbook pro and pay all the extras to get windows on it and buy crossover, if it would be more economical to buy a PC, or if there is some other way that I do not know of??
thanks for your input!

Answer
You could go buy parallels, which allow you to install windows on top of mac as a virtual machine, though you still need to purchase windows license, but this give you more compatibility. but if the specialized software are running smoothly on crossover then I think you could go settle with crossover instead.
