can I connect external speakers to an I-Mac

  You can connect external speakers using a standard 3.5mm audio plug found on most earphones or powered speakers. I have this setup as I wasn't totally happy with the bass reproduction of the built-in speakers. The plug is on the reverse of the iMac.
