Can I record my voice, or speaker lectures on the iPod and play it back like the old cassette recorders used to?
As a college student, I often used a cassette tape recorder to record my professor's lectures and then played them back later to enhance my learning. Is the iPod capable of doing this function to replace the cassette recorder?

You can't do that with the shuffle, nano, or classic. However, there are apps for the iPod touch that can do this for you. Hope that helps!
