how does renting a movie on itunes work?

I don't want to pay for the movie because it won't stay on my phone for very long. How does it work to rent a movie. Will it download on my phone for a short time?

    When you rent a movie on iTunes you have 30 days to start it and once you start it you have 24 hours. If you download it to a computer and want to put it on another device you do it normally.

  • You just pay for the rental - and it will be available to watch for 30 days. Once you start watching it - iTunes allows you 24 hours to finish it - after that it's gone.
    Be around a wi-fi signal to download (it's free at your library) or - best thing to do is purchase and download via your computer and iTunes, then synch the movie to your phone.
    In case you didn't know- you can watch the movie via iTunes on your computer or phone...
