can i stream movies from my network hard drive
example from my wireless router w/ usb port which my hard drive is connected to serve as network hard drive and i want it to wirelessly stream my movies, photos & music from that network hard drive to the apple tv... is it posssibble?..

Yes this should be possible. As long as your hard drive when connected via USB can be accessed from you computer then there is no issues, all you do is have your iTunes library on the hard drive then locate it when you open iTunes on your computer. Once iTunes is running the Apple TV will stream from that library on that hard drive.
I have used this method and a NAS drive connected via ethernet to the router or switch and simply switch between multiple libraries on either drive.- Answered by John K
