Got the red version of the case today from my local apple shop. Fits the 2nd gen amazingly! made from a tough metal shell, slides on easily and leaves holes for the headphone jack, dock connector, top button and volume buttons. could've done with some kind of screen protector, but I luckily still had my screen protector on from when I bought the ipod a few days ago. However, if apple are going to charge this much for it (Overpriced but good - seems to be apple's general ethos) I wish they would include some form of screen protection, even if it was just a plastic film or something...

well, i bought this product and i leaves the screen open the elements and while it protects the BACK from scratches, it doesnt protect it from minor knocks because mine has now got a nice big crack rendering it useless. …More
