Fab case, fits like a glove, really classy looking and suits my new nano perfectly. I have a red nano which still looks clearly red through this case, fading subtly to dark grey/red. Yes, you can still see the engraving through the case and the video lens is free of the case all the time. You can leave the i-pod in this case all the time; don't need to remove it to charge or use the videa. Really good buy, can't recommend highly enough. …More

The answer to your question is yes and it also has an open end so as you don't have to remove the case whilst charging or using it in a dock. I bought one earlier today it fits the ipod really snuggly i would personally recommend this item. I have two ipod nanos one 4th gen and the latest 5th gen a first gen ipod classic and a video ipod classic. I have been hunting around trying to find a case as well fitting as this for ages. …More
