    For the Perfectionist!

    • Written by from Beckenham

I have been deliberating buying these headphones since they were launched, I wish I hadn't waited, they are superb.

Having read many reviews, I like many others have been searching for the right in-ear headphones, these are certainly the best so far, and I have previously purchased far too many to mention.

in my opinion the reason they are so great is that the music sounds very rich with absolute clarity, just the right amount of base and they are extremely comfortable to wear.

Other reviews mention that they are expensive, however I would say "buy cheep - buy twice"

Excellent sound quality...but for how long?

    • Written by from Weybridge

These are superb in-ear headphones - the sound quality is similar to listening to music through good quality headphones eg AKG 701s.
The in-line remote works perfectly with my iPhone 4s.
They are extremely comfortable, stay in place and block out a fair amount of external noise - just about OK on the tube!
And yet... the cable is thin, can't be replaced and you just know that you are going to break them at some point in the future :-(
    Be careful and enjoy :-)

    Excellent little earphones

    • Written by from ALLOA

I bought these earphones for my wife. I own a set of Ultimate Ears triple-fi 10 vi so I can make good comparison. The sound quality from these phones is exceptional considering that they only have a single driver. Not quite up to the sound quality of the UE but not far off. Where they come into their own is the comfort. Extended listening periods on the UE becomes uncomfortable. Not these. For bog standard mp3 listening, these are probably the better of the two. The phone answering facility works fine when the 3.5mm jack is pushed right home. These also have volume control unlike the UE. More

At last - value for money

    • Written by from SIVATTI

I've purchased at least 4 pairs of in ear headphones in the price range 150 - 300 EUR, and all of them have fallen far below expectations. The Klipsch Image X10i are the far and clear exception from this.

Firstly, there are a range of size and style of buds - most people I am sure will find a set to fit comfortably in their ear for extended periods without earache.

Secondly (and most importantly) the sound quality is superb - it was really like listening to my music collection for the first time again - rich deep bass, and subtle background acoustics that were simply not heard through other headphones. This applies to music from classical, R&B, rock, dance.

They are very light and unobtrusive, I even forgot that I was wearing them at times.

    Highly recommended.

The X10I's are very good. I have gone through several pairs of headphones and found these the best (Shure SE430, Sennheiser CX400).
The Klipsch deliver clean audio, very neutral overall. They are a single driver (unlike the other incorrect response) but really this does not matter unless you by headphones for the number of drivers in them! The real result is that the things are tiny. Very small compared to a traditional in ear type, and much smaller than the more expensive Shure models.
I would highly recommend these for someone who wants incredible clarity, unlike the Dr Dre or Sennheiser models which are very bass heavy and bass heavy respectively.
