    Excellent portable Iphone/Ipod dock

    Just got these after having a good look around for a dock for my new Iphone 3GS. They have an amazing battery life (around 20hrs) so dont worry about taking the power supply, if they are charged ! Audio quality is as you would expect from Logitech (Very good) , they are a great size so good to take away and fold up nicely flat. Finish and quality is solid. Highly recomended …More

    Great speakers

    I bought these in the airport last month on my way to a beach holiday. After quite a while of comparing these to other similar speakers, these seemed to be the nobrainer best choice. For this particular price range (£50 - £100) the Logitech's had the best sound (by far) and a built in rechargable power supply (no need to buy rechargable batteries).

    I can confirm that it works perfectly with the iPhone original, 3GS and 4, with no need for fitment adaptors etc, as I have all of these and have tried it. It will also charge you iPod/iPhone when plugges in to the mains. It also comes with a Euro and UK plug so you can leave the iPhone charger at home and use this instead.

    Better than expected, much better actually!

    I bought this as a gift to the parents iPod. Once they unpacked it I (their son) was of course all over it to test it out so i could see what it was I've bought them as I was a bit skeptical on the quality/power etc.

    But i must admit once I've yanked it from their hands and tried it out i was amazed by the quality. Even the sound was good, even in the "power"-saving mode the sound is still okay and it seems to be able to play just as loud but with reduced quality.

    I have not tested the battery life though, but i suspect that is average and close to whats been promised. No matter what your iPod/iPhone will run out of juice first anyways

    To sum it all up, great buy to those who needs a portable speaker and still want to be able to blow the pants of someone :) Price vs. Quality and expectations is a tie!

    Doesn"t work with iPhone 4 with a case

    Nice, but if there"s a protective case on the phone, the case may prevent the dock connector to fit properly. So, kno sound (but from the phone"s speaker) until the case is removed. This happens at least with iPhone 4 and Uncommon Deflector Case for iPhone. …More

    Sound quality

    Bought this based on the very positive reviews here and Apple's own 'Did you notice' box, which all praise the sound quality of these speakers - 'clear accurate sound reproduction' etc.
    Hence I was somewhat disappointed, particularly with the sound. The price is right and the battery powered portability is a nice feature, but the sound quality is, in my opinion, mediocre.
    My comparison is to my last iPod speaker unit, an original JBL On Stage - a sexy design with remarkably good, clear and powerful sound, especially for such a small unit. The Logitech doesn't come close - it looks bland and the sound is muddy,
    lacking punch in the bass and clarity in the high end. I wouldn't have expected great sound from such small speakers had it not been for the reviews here and the On Stage proving it is possible. I actually considered returning the Logitech until I got used to the difference in sound quality.

    My advice (and what I'll do next time) is buy the JBL equivalent if you care at all about sound quality.     …More
