These Atomic Floyd Headphones will blow your mind!

I recently bought a pair of Atomic Floyd headphones (the ones with the Titanium ear piece) and they are quite simply the best headphones I have ever used. I had no idea you could get such rich chocolaty base from inner-ear headphones. Not only do they deliver awesome sound but they really are very cool to look at. If Steve Macqueen was still alive he would use these headphones!! What I love about them is there are so many little features like the canvas ‘tangle-free’ cable that really does work. I can’t believe no one else has ever thought of that.. What’s more they are killer value. They delivery better sound than some of the other high end headphones I have tried like Shure yet they are almost half the price (and look ten times better). I had never heard of Atomic Floyd before but I will wager they are about to become one of the next BIG things. I urge anyone thinking about buying headphones to get these. You will not be disappointed. A resounding 5 stars. More

    Good stuff!

I have tried normal in-ear headphones a couple of times before - including Apple's own - and maybe I have the wrong type of ears, but either they hurt or they fall out. Falling out has been normal, and the sound has been poor at times because the phones work their way into the wrong position before falling out. It has been a great frustration.

So, after a long time searching, I came across these Airjax headphones, and boy are they good. The sound quality is excellent, even with the more demanding operatic singing. The fit is adjustable, and they are put in and stay in, even while exercising. It seems also that the sound doesn't 'leak' quite as badly as before (when others can hear it) though this may be because the fit is better.

Very impressed with the fit and the sound, but they are also beautifully designed and made. The over-ear clips have optional rubber covers - I am still undecided whether these are necessary, the comfort seems fine without.

Not cheap, but they do work very well indeed.

I was hesistant to spend this much money on a set of buds, but I took the plunge and I am not entirely satisified.

Firstly, the build quality on these is fantastic, they feel and look expensive, the tangle free cord (fabric) works well. Although a little fiddly, once you get the fit adjusted they sit comfortably in the ear, they do sometimes feel a little loose on occasion.

However these are let down by the sound reproduction, bass and low frequency sounds are poorly produced, there seems to be very little bass produced at all which was very dissapointing, mid range and higher frequencies are produced well, if not a little tinny at times.

If the bass was better I would say that these were great, but unfortunately this really, really let's them down.

    Good

I bought this to complement by B&O A8 Headphone.

Nice design and quality. I am little bit disappointed with limited ear adjustment and had trouble getting it to hook on my ear. Wire get tangled easily and although case provided is good but wrapping wire around it not.

Sound quality is very good overall.

    I still recommend A8.
