Installation instructions
1st Step: Thorough Cleaning
- Clean your iPod LCD screen with a lint free cloth and a small amount of glass cleaner. Ensure that all fingerprints and particles have been removed.
- Wipe off any excess glass cleaner so that the screen is completely dry.
2nd Step (Pre-Installation Film): Removing any dust particles on your screen.
- Remove one half of the white backing of the pre-installation film.
- Without touching the LCD screen directly with your fingers, place the film onto it
- Without touching the LCD screen, remove the second half of the backing. Apply the rest of the film to the LCD screen. Rub it down thoroughly to ensure that the Pre-Installation film has captured all dust particles.
- Remove the Pre-Installation film by pulling it off by the excess film. Do not touch the LCD Screen.
3rd Step (Crystal Film): Applying the Film
- Without touching the adhesive side of the film, push down on the backing to expose the adhesive side.
- Align the edge of the film with the bottom of the face of your iPod. You can use the button as an alignment tool. Once a proper alignment is found, apply part of the film.
- Without touching the face of the iPod or the adhesive side of the film, allow for the rest of the film to apply by peeling off the backing from underneath the film.
- Cover your finger in a lint-free cloth and rub out any air bubbles.
Please note: Power Support's Protective Screen Films come attached to a basic transparent plastic backing. Whenever applying films, you can touch either side of this transparent backing and the non-adhesive side of the film. However, do not touch the adhesive side of the film because the oils from your skin will compromise the adhesive qualities of the static cling adhesive.

Bit pricey compared to other products but i'm glad i 'splashed out'.
Application was SO easy...some instructions can be un-nerving but as my iTouch was un-opened and still in its original packaging and with factory protection on it, application of the Crystal film was clean and perfect! 2x films are provided (in case of a mistake!) and one mildy stick film for removing dust particles. The non-sticky adhesive means that in a dust-free environment, you can remove the film and re-apply many many times to get the correct application, with NO air bubbles whatsoever. The film is 0.5mm smaller than the screen but this allows for any error in fitting and ensures that no scrape or knock on the edge will lift the film or move it. Remember, work in a dust-free environement with clean hands, above all...TAKE YOUR TIME. Compared to the Anti-glare film, the screen is much brighter and clearer and easier to clean. Screen Protector? What Screen Protector?

I couldnt decide between the Crystal or the Antiglare screen protector from Power Support, but based on someone else's review of being aware of the antiglare screen protector, I went for this one instead, and I'm glad I did.
This is one of the new breed of screen protectors that use a tough plastic and a gel layer to stick to the screen, and the end result is perfect. You really cant tell that you have this screen protector on once its fitted.
The only complaint I first had when fitting this is that there is a good millimetre clearance all around the edge which at first I though would bug me, but then I fitted my iTouch into a case and realised that the clearance was probably there for that reason as once the screen protector is on and the iTouch in the case to protect the back, you don't notice the edge.
If you've never used one of these style protectors before with the gel layer, be warned that the slightest spec of dust trapped under it usually causes the film to bubble up and you can really see it. My advise for fitting these is if you can, wear clean rubber gloves (medical style?) so you don't get anything underneath the film. Clean the iTouch like crazy with a lint free cloth, then make sure you use the supplied sticky sheet to make sure the screen is completely free of anything, then use a credit card to smooth the protector onto the screen to remove bubbles. Once fitted with care, the result is amazing. I've had one on my Nokia for months and it looks as new as the day I got it.
If you ever have to remove to clean (again I would recommend rubber gloves), wrap sticky tape around one finger and tap a corner of the screen protector and it just peels off, wash by hand and replace.
Awesome product, and you get two in the pack! (one should last forever, maybe its to share with a friend :) )

Like the screen protector but wasted the first one by not cleaning the screen properly. Use the sticky white pads to get fluff and stray hairs of the screen. …More

A good idea and very simple to fit just a shame it doesn't cover the edges of the ipod which will mean i have to buy yet another cover to protect the edges it would have been cheaper to buy a case from ebay that comes with a free screen protector. Having said that i doubt the free screen protector would be as good as the Crystal film version and the case would probably look terrible. …More

Good idea but not well executed

I did struggle when putting the screen protector and ended up bending one of the corners resulting in a perminent air buble there. Luckily this does not cover or abstract the screen in any way and it does mean I'm not worried about scrating the screen. Is worth getting but a lot of care is needed when applying it. Would get a four or five star rating but it isn't as simple to apply as every one else is saying. …More
