Stylish TriPort headphones answer the call for smooth, high-performance sound in a very lightweight package. Hear the full spectrum of your music whether you're plugged into a computer or on the go with a portable media device. Their ergonomic design keeps them remarkably comfortable and lightweight, even as proprietary Bose headphone technology reveals the rich acoustical landscape of your music.
With Bose technology, you don’t have to compromise the quality of your audio just because you’re listening through a pair of headphones. The acoustic equalization techniques delivers the rich nuances of your music that conventional headphones often lose. You hear the intricate notes of an acoustic guitar, the full range of vocals and even the beat of a drum with greater clarity and impact. TriPort headphone technology faithfully reproduces deep, full low notes without requiring the artificial bass boost function found on many portable players.
Advanced ergonomics and lightweight design define the stylish TriPort headphones. Soft ear cushions gently fit around your ear for hours of comfortable listening. A thin, adjustable headband has several head size settings and the earcups swivel for a better fit. An additional benefit of Bose TriPort headphone technology is that it helps reduce headphone size without sacrificing performance, resulting in a total weight of only five ounces.

Bose® Around-Ear Headphones
Poor
Written by DB from Halifax

I bought a pair of these headphones last christmas. there is no dispute as to the quality of the sound, it is nothing short of breathtaking. The build quality can only be described as well.....Rubbish. the arms holding the earcups to the band cracked very quickly despite being very gentle with them. They eventually broke off altogether shortly after the guaranteee period had expired. No amount of e-mailing got any response from the Bose customer service department. I will never buy another Bose product again. Their service is as naff as their build quality. Buyer beware. …More

Bose® Around-Ear Headphones
Really Superb, Love Them.
Written by TC from Southwold,

I bought these last year for £120, and have loved every minute of them. I really enjoy listening to songs and noticing parts you just don't hear with cheap audio equipment. You may find reviews on the internet saying the plastic snaps, but Bose have built a much stronger metal frame inside the plastic, so there is no need to worry about that. It comes with a really long extension cable so you can sit far away from you computer, for example. Also a nice drawstring bag, with a Bose logo on it.
Now on to the audio, they just sound amazing. The clarity is just gorgeous. There super comfortable too. The bass is rich, as with all Bose products. The treble is fantastic. All genre's sound superb, but i enjoy listening to orchestral music to really hear those high trebles. They sound really great on games too, such as Call of Duty 2, you can actually hear where the grenades have bounced, and where the shots are coming from.
Now these beauties are just £100, if you can afford it, i would have to say get them. You just wont regret it. …More347 of 504 people found this useful

Bose® Around-Ear Headphones
Awesome set of headphones...

Originally I was very hesitant to buy these, as I'd read in many reviews that the plastic snaps really easily, and as I am quite active/rough with my headphones/ipod etc, I didn't think they'd survive longer than a week. However, they were so incredibly comfortable when I tried them on I couldn't resist. I've had them for over 7 months now, and they are still as good as new! And they are very good at blocking out unwanted noises, whilst being able to hear music extremely clearly, especially bass which usually goes unnoticed with cheap tinny headphones.
Brilliant headphones!! …More318 of 471 people found this useful

Bose® Around-Ear Headphones
A complete waste of money
Written by BH from Snodland

I bought some of these headphones a couple of years ago, and at the time I was very happy with them - I'd never listened to anything else apart from the poor excuse for earphones Apple ships with their iPods.
The first problem to make itself known was the build quality of these cans - nothing short of shocking. The plastic sections of the headband both snapped during normal use, which is clearly a design flaw - they've changed the design of the headband, but it still happens. When mine broke they replaced the headband with the updated version for free, and you can't say fairer than that. However, the jack plug then developed a loose connection (whilst not being used at all due to fear of the headband breaking again). When I contacted Bose about this, they said they couldn't fix it but offered to sell me a refurbished pair at about 60% of the RRP... What?! I don't think so! So I replaced the jack plug myself with a far superior Neutrik item. In the mean time I listened to various pairs of headphones from Sennheiser, Beyer Dynamic, Koss and Grado (to name but a few) and they all had one thing in common; they blew the sound quality of the Bose cans out of the water. When you compare these headphones to ones of an equivalent (or even considerably lower) price from a ‘proper’ manufacturer, you realize that Bose has designed their products to sound impressive to people who don’t know any better – this means a very coloured sound with boomy bass, over-emphasized mids and no highs to speak of (the ones that are present being harsh and unrealistic). If you’re thinking of buying these headphones, buy something like the Grado SR60i’s instead. You’ll never look back. …More15 of 24 people found this useful

I listen to music pretty much everyday and these set reciprocate what you experience when your raving in a club. The clarity is crystal clear, they are extremely comfortable, and the bass is awesome. What ever genre you listen to, they will deliver beyound all expectations. I prefer these over the on ear bose headphones and the build quality has NOT been an issue. These are worth every penny. …More
