    One to buy!

Having tested most of the display models at the apple shop I can honestly say that the PX100 is the best buy. They have a warm round sound and i think that they are superior to the ear headphones supplied with the ipod. they are comfortable to wear and there carring case makes using them on the move, plane; train, convenient. They are in my opinion, perferable to the PX250. I don't think you could do much better especialy at the price. would definitely buy a second pair. More

    Fantastic sound

The earbuds that come with the ipods are already very good, so you will be surprised to learn this budget PX100 is even better. The sound is very crisp and the base is immensely detailed. The only thing is they leak a lot of sound. So if you like your music loud, you wonÆt be the only one listening! More

PX100s are superb! (not so the 200s)...

Have two sets of these in the family for kids MP3 players and they are superb. The bass and mid-range are deep and warm, the phones are so light you will not know they're on, but (as per other reviewer) they do leak sound. BUT don't think about going for the 'closed' PX200s as you will sacrifice ALL the bass and midrange (see my review of my 200s purchased) - stick to the 100s and you'll love them. Quite excellent. DO YOU HATE IN-EAR HEADPHONES?

    Written by TB from Barnoldswick

    22-Jun-2009

I've always found in-ear headphones very uncomfortable and with a tendency to fall out or get pulled out easily. I tried these headphones in the shop to listen to something as they were there for that purpose, and boy what a wonderful difference! They're so comfy to wear, very light and the sound is brilliant. The only slight snag is working out how to put them back in the case - very ingenious system! Once you've sussed that out you're away - a superb piece of kit all round! I haven't regretted my choice for a moment. More

    Very good sound, weak cable

    Written by JC from Brighton

    29-May-2009

I've had two pairs of these, and both pairs broke in exactly the same way. The join of the cable to the mini-jack plug became weak, the wires became exposed and it was only a matter of time before the metal inside disintegrated and the headphones were unusable/unfixable. I am very careful with my headphones, but both pairs lasted less than a year.

It's a shame they break that way because I do like these headphones a lot. Where some people have complained about them leaking sound, I enjoyed being able to use them as small speakers for my iPod when listening to spoken-word podcasts or watching movies. I don't like in-ear phones, and there aren't many decent headphones of this type, so I may yet be forced to buy PX100s again. However, I will be searching for something else to see what other manufacturers can offer.

    Great, but...

    Written by JB from Biddulph

Great headphones with excellent sound reproduction, only problem is they are not suitable for use in noisy areas such as a bus or in a car with the stereo on as they do not block any outside noise, and also when using them, people can hear what you are listening to. Sometimes difficult to pack away in the case especially if you are in a rush. If you don't mind this, I recommend these headphones. More
