I purchased these over a year ago and they still sound as pure as the day I bought them. The sound quality is unmatchable.
Style wise... fantastically innovative. You can either stand the speakers up as many of the images display but you can also hang them from loop that forms the base of the stand.

I wasn't intending to spend this much on speakers until I heard them. I was looking for a 2.1 speaker package and was thinking of the JBL Creature II speakers but they sounded 'hissy'. I heard these and was blown away. I'm doing a sound engineering degree and know what good speakers sound like - These sound amazing and have inpecable clarity. I read quite a few reviews on different speakers for my iPod and couldnt really decide which to buy. I wanted something funky with a good sound that would let me use my iPod as a stereo in my living room. I chose these. The soundsticks are as impressive in sound as they are in looks! These speakers not only have excellent audio quality but they just ooze style! The adjustable bass from the subwoofer blows the best songs away but can also be turned down for more relaxing tunes. The touch sensitive volume controls on the speakers are just another amazing innovative touch! I first saw and heard these speakers a few years ago in New York. A friend introduced me to all things Apple and he just happened to have these speakers. Funky and fabulous I thought. I finally bought a Mac last year and have just bought these speakers.
The sound reproduction is excellent with every type of music (from classical & opera to pop & R&B - you get the idea) and the stereo effect is fantastic. We also use the Mac as a second TV/DVD player and although the standard speakers are excellent these just a completely new dimension.
These speakers remain virtually unchanged since they launched a few years ago. They don't need to be re-invented or upgraded. A classic never dies and I think that speaks volumes. Sorry for the cliche. …More4 of 4 people found this useful

These speakers are great, with good sound, very nice design. But they don't play as loud as expected. But they do the trick. I will not rate them with 5 stairs as this would be for the completely fantastic sound and loudness speaker. But for computer gamers and for the office they are great.
The good thing with the speakers are that you can turn them off on the bass booster, and you can turn the volumen -/+ on the satelite speakers.
With airport express their work great.

This model does not come with a docking station to play and charge your device. It only comes with the aux. jack.
That being said, if you buy the universal dock from Apple, if has an aux. output for external speakers and if it is plugged in to a wall with the wall adapter over USB, you will be able to play and charge at the same time! …More- Answered by JL from Rigaud
