Unfortunately they have a huge f These earphones are great for running, they fit very well, are light and the sound is fantastic. Unfortunately they have a huge flaw, whenever you watch video back, be it from an iPhone, PC, Mac, TV anything at all it has about a 2 second delay so everything is out of Sync. I have spoken to Beats support and they feel that the issue is all of the other manufactures need to issue an update to fix this. I explained that all of the other bluetooth headphones I own do not have this problem and work fine with iPhone, Mac Tv etc. Even a little £25 Sony Bluetooth dongle works better than these £170 earphones.
If you just want them for running then go for it, they sound good and fit well. Don't touch them if you want to use them for watching Video however. In my opinion and at this price they need to do both and these simply don't.
Needless to say mine are being returned to Apple tomorrow for a refund.... …

Best Fit but very occasional drop in connection

For many I've generally found poor fitting not only annoying but also negatively effects the quality of the sound by reducing the bass. My last wireless pair were Jaybird Bluebird X which tend to bounce out of your ear and if you wear the wire up and over your ears as it suggests, the wire keeps bouncing off the back of your neck which is more than a little annoying. I've had the latest Beats wireless earphones for 4 weeks using them pretty much every other day for running and the fit is the best I've experienced from both wired and wireless earphones. You can choose the size of bud and then just push in your ears with the fitting over the back of each ear, then a simple twist and they snugly lock into place. The sound has a great bass which now you can adjust equalisation if you are playing music using the latest Spotify app - however having tried you don't really need to adjust the sound as the fit and sound quality of these earphones are so good anyway.
The controls seem very sturdy especially compared to my wired Beats earphones that are very plastic and fragile in comparison. You can easily control volume and track play/pause/forward/back. You can also shorten the ear to ear cable that sits comfortably on the back of your neck.
The only slight downside is the occasional loss of connection. You don't need to do anything as it sorts itself out but I have experienced an occasional drop of sound or jump in the track which I've not experienced with other Bluetooth headsets. It's not really a big deal as it is more of an occasional thing rather than constant occurrence. I wear my iphone around my waist so if you have a wrist case this may not be an problem anyway, however this is why it's a 4 star rather than 5 in my book. …

Good idea, but there is clearly a real issue
After two days you will be searching the internet to find out why they won't turn on any more. You will follow the numerous reset After two days you will be searching the internet to find out why they won't turn on any more. You will follow the numerous reset articles; holding down different combinations of buttons while trying to power up, only to discover that doesn't work either, or it might just, but only once. Then, you will have a pair of nice looking, but totally useless headphones. Returning and replacing them then becomes a long and tedious journey; taking much longer than you thought possible and requiring much more leg work, chasing and time on your part than you can imagine. Expect this to be a repeated cycle of events if you opt for replacement over refund.
Saying that, I did opt for replacement, so fingers crossed once the new pair finally arrives! The sound quality, while they worked was great and I didn't notice any lag in the two days they worked. Great for use while exercising, as no cables dangling around and a good fit.
While I love the idea of these, there is clearly a real problem with either the design or the build quality. PowerBeats3 might be a safer option once they have worked out where it has all gone wrong? …

Great product idea, terrible product quality
I'm about to take my 3rd pair back this weekend for a refund as I've run out of patience with this product. First pair arrived wit I'm about to take my 3rd pair back this weekend for a refund as I've run out of patience with this product. First pair arrived with a faulty manufactured USB port, but replaced no problem at the local apple store. 2nd pair were used for 3 running sessions when the battery died (similar experience to other users). Changed again at store for a 3rd pair, on which the in line remote has stopped working before a run this morning. Very poor quality & not what you'd expect from an Apple company.
When working I've found these OK - the sound is a bit too treble-ly for my tastes, but that could be as I struggled to get a good fit with then no matter which earbud I tried. Also agree with another reviewer that I found the cable material pulled on the neck a bit when running - I ended up having the cable around the front of the neck rather than the back as you see on the slick ads.
The hunt for a good set of robust wireless earphones goes on :( In fairness the in store customer service was its usual high quality, unlike the powerbeats. …

Amazing, GLAD i purchased.
So many bad reviews out there with this product, which scared me but because apple have a 14 day return policy i was happy to buy So many bad reviews out there with this product, which scared me but because apple have a 14 day return policy i was happy to buy and test them out. If i didn't like them i could simple return them :)
After the 14 days i was very happy with the product, but still think its a little on the expensive side. £120 price point would have been good. You are paying for the brand Beat by dre, not cheap :( The wireless feature alone is amazing and i get decent ish range with them. I can leave my phone in one room and move to another no problem.
Sound quality is brilliant for wireless bluetooth headphones, sweat/water resistant so perfect for hard gym sessions or jogging in the light rain. Very easy to operate. People are having problems with lag video audio. I myself have not had this problem, i updated my wireless beats and works brilliant with no problem (iphone6 and iPad Air) but they is a slight lag on my macbook retina
All apps like music for iPhone and spotify have equaliser settings so you can make slight adjustments. Add more bass, treble etc.
BEWARE of fakes on eBay they are loads around be careful, my friend purchase a set for £110 on eBay and it did not match the one i got from apple but it was a good copy and very close packaging you could not tell via the eBay photos. How to spot a fake: No serial number on headphone cable. Ive warned you!! More info can be found online or youtube on how to spot a fake. Feel sorry for beats because they so many fakes that go around and due to this they get a lot of bad reviews.
Thank you Apple for the return policy! BUY, TRY then keep or return EASY! …

Getting the fit right takes some time, but they work well. Great sound, decent battery life, very light, sweat resistant. Also the mic for phone calls works well (people have said the voice quality on my calls is fine). I've logged about 100 miles w/ them so far.
