Unlike traditional, circular earbuds, the design of the new Apple EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other earbud-style headphone.
The speakers inside Apple EarPods have been engineered to minimise sound loss and maximise sound output. So you get high-quality audio that’s just as impressive as what you’d hear from more expensive headphones.
The Apple EarPods with Remote and Mic also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.

Well worth the purchase
I have been looking to buy a new set of headphones for a while, however, couldn't justify spending £100+.
This evening I decide I have been looking to buy a new set of headphones for a while, however, couldn't justify spending £100+.
This evening I decided to buy a set of EarPods from my local Apple Store. The quality of the sound as good, if not better than some of the professional headphones I have tried over the last month.
The tones are clear and the base is superb. I thoroughly recommend EarPods if you are looking to replace your headphones …

For £25, it's thoroughly worth it.

I asked my local Apple distributer if I could try them since I wanted a good pair of headphones. When I put them in, I was surprised at how well the fit my ears, they didn't hurt after a while as other pairs do and my lord, the sound was something I hadn't heard from a pair of stock headphones. I tried the in-ear buds which were much more expensive a year before and not only did they not fit my ears and feel awkward, to me they sounded tinny and awful, but with these it was like night and day. The clarity is brilliant with great mids and lows and music sounds fantastic on them. I'm sure there are better sounding headphone buds but for £25, just even for apple branded devices, I don't see how you'd complain.
Also, whilst the cables have slowly became more dirty over the year, I have never had them tangle and knot so badly I spent more than a minute unravelling them. Neither buds have worn or broken and it's all in great order. Whilst designed for Apple devices, be assured, these work with many many many more devices as it's almost a standard interface. Personally I use them on my PCs and my Samsung Galaxy S2 and they work flawlessly and sound just as good on anything I use with them. I honestly recommend these to any person looking for decent headphones, even non-Apple lovers.
As the title says, for £25, I can't see how you can go wrong. …

Amazing Sound But Has A Poor Life Span

It's not too expensive compared to other brands available in the market and it has simply sublime audio quality unlike the previous earphones. I was pleasantly surprised that the sounds it produced were incredibly much better than some German brands or even the Dr. Dre Beats earphones. My only pickle with it is that is not very durable and I've had to replace it several times already when the wires start to wear and become exposed which seems to be a prevalent problem with all the cables and wires produced by Apple. …

In other words, for £25 (currently), they're absolutely fantastic. The frequency range is slightly larger than the average earphone and I believe a low-end was boosted sightly so you get a more 'natural feel' in your ears. These are a ridiculously massive improvement on the previous earphones and in comparison to other earphones at that price, you get a lot of sound for your money! …
