It What it doesn't tell you, and the reason I bought it, is that it WON'T work with movies bought / rented from the iTunes Store. It comes up with a message (in my case in an iPad Mini) to the effect that the film cannot be played because the attached display isn't authorised to view "protected" films. I had only bought my iPad Air a couple of weeks before the meeting and had no idea what I would find at the meeting as a projector. So fingers crossed and flip chart as a back up. Needn't have worried! Simple plug in and test five minutes before the meeting was due to start and the Keynote presentation went effortlessly (can't guarantee that the content was as good!)

The lighting passthrough port still works fine, but not impossible to make any presentations using Keynote on the iPad. Oh well, back to Powerpoint for me. No way am I spending £40 on a new one...

The Lightning input allows the phone to be charged whilst running the presentation. Overall I'm very satisfied, and I'd have given 5 stars if it sold at £30
