When is apple By the time I finish buying cables over the life of this iPhone I would have spent more than the value of the phone! When is apple going to do something about it? How can you put out a new phone with the same faulty cable after your customers have been complaining forever? So my best option is to buy a new make for which I have to remove my phone case to use?
No matter how cool your phone is its pointless without charge; so I may as well switch brands because I would end up spending the same amount for this frustration in the end...I have been very patient but customer loyalty dwindles with this nonsense kmt!

I am having to buy a 3rd charging cable in that time. I have been very careful with my iPad as it helps me to keep in contact with friends and family when I am not able to get out and about, as I am a disabled pensioner.
Obviously, my next smartphone, tablet and lap-top will not be Apple.

It is simply bad bad bad.
Shame on you Apple for peddling such infoerior products. And to those who (probaby from Apple's staff...) say oh it's just a question of how careful you are, it's not. I've just had it by my desk in the office and it breaks cause it's a poorly designed cheap piece of (bad language goes here)...
