  I received my iPhone 4 bumper from the bumper app a few months ago. Although I much prefer the iPhone 4 design without the bumper, it's a necessity as it stops the phone from slipping around in the car etc... due to its rubber edges. Also, with the bumper on, it lifts the phone slightly when placed on a desk, this helps the phone stay clean and scratch free. Having owned third party cases for my older iPhones, this is by far the best. I have not had any issues with the bumper feeling loose, or scratching my phone.   This case is okay but i thought it was going to have a back, i thought it had a plastic back.   There is one plus to this case. It looks good. Although there is nothing to it at all (a cheap surround of plastic), you do get th e sense that it was made by the people that made the phone. That's the pluses over and done with.
  
  The bad points. It feels cheap and plasticy as that's what it is. There is simply nothing to this case that would demand any more than £5 but Apple have suggested it's something other than it is by trying to trouser an amazing £26 for it. I don't own the case any more as it broke at the bottom where you plug in the charger after around ten months. The plastic simply cracked from the repeated action of plugging and unplugging the charger. Probably the worst aspect of this case (other than falling apart and the jaw dropping price) is the fact that it damages your phone. I got a replacement iPhone 4s from Apple Uk after I broke the screen on mine. I bought the case at the same time and fitted it straight away. I've never taken the case off since I bought it but since it's fallen apart, i've noticed it's substantially scratched the metal surround of the phone.   This is what should be a great complimentary product for use with the iphone.
  Unfortunately, as seems so of then the case with Ap ple, this item is disproportionately expensive for what it is, and the quality is far below what the cost would suggest.
  On average for me, a bumper lasts just about a year with normal use. It doesn't allow use of non-Apple accessory cables (earphones or charger leads), and spoils the smart appearance of your device when the material begins to flake and crumble.

  great product people say its bad and scratches your phone but no it doesnt. It will keep your phone very safe and it wond get dest royed within a few weeks iv had mine for ages and yeah shouldnt put it on and off too much and if you dont take it off right yeah it can split.
