High-Speed HDMI cable at an affordable price!

    • Written by from Milton Keynes

I have purchased 2 lots of these HDMI cables and they work excellent with my brand new Samsung 46" 3D LED Smart TV and fully works with my Samsung BD-C8200 blu-ray 3D player, my Apple TV and my Sky+ HD box and works perfectly.

This is the cheapest HDMI cable and I fully recommend this to other people who has got a new HDTV or a new 3DTV.

Does exactly what it needs to. You'll struggle to find a better quality HDMI cable for £15.

    Best HDMI Lead so Far

    • Written by from Whitchurch

I've used lots of different HDMI leads and sneered at anything that was more than £5 but I've been having issues with cheaper leads recently with loss of picture from my Onkyo Amp, Humax Freeview HD, sony blray, Tiscali Box ATV2 and HDMI splitter for multi room and Sony LCD TV but the Apple rooms have sorted it and the best part they are so much thinner than other HDMI leads on the market. USB is NOT used for this sort of video connection.

There's two ways of doing this. The first is possible only if you have a relatively new MacBook Pro (or iMac) that has a Mini DisplayPort connection for external video. If so, you can use the Kanex Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable available through the Apple Store.

For any type of MacBook, MacBook Pro, or iMac, you can use a combination of:

    1. A video adapter that turns your Mac's external display port into generic DVI. The specific adapter required depends on your Mac, as different models have used different types of connections. For example, if your MacBook has a mini-DVI connector, then you'll need a mini-DVI to DVI adapter. Apple has DVI adapters for almost all of their various models (past and present).

    2. A DVI to HDMI cable, such as the ones from Belkin available here at the Apple Store.

Yes and No. This cable WILL let you watch movies loaded on your iPad on your HDTV through it's HDMI input, but you will also need to purchase the Apple Digital AV Adapter which will provide you with the necessary HDMI output. More
