the remote and mic is great, it saves you going in your pocket to get your ipod out just to change the song and the sound is just the same as the normal one's but for the same price you gain the remote and mic and i think it's brilliant More

    Simple and great!

It is a great earphone using with my iTouch (2nd gen). Simple controls, more comfortable materials (less plastic feeling) and the same sound quality and for the SAME PRICE as before! The only thing: U need to be careful not to press the play button (no lock on it). I can just recommend it! More

Good, but could have a longer cord.

The earphones are sensitive, and the remote is a great idea. I have been waiting for these to be available for ages. I use them with my 2nd gen iPod touch and they are good. The reason that I bought these was to have my ipod in my bag, but still be able to change the music. The reason that I have not given these five stars is that they do not have much length in them, and they do not work with my earphone extenders. On their own they do not have much slack in the cord. If they came with or even sold these extenders then I would give five stars. More

    Horrible

The worst headphones that can come with such an awesome product. it won't stay in my ears, sound quality is ultra poor and everyone else can hear what i'm listening to.

Quite a few times i've been told to turn them off at libraries coz the sound leaks out!!

the remote and the mic is a neat idea though :)

  • Will these work to use skype on ipod touch 2 gen

My guess is Yes! Apps that need voice in them such as voice memos and in your case, "Skype", are made for the built in mic or the external mic that you would find on this head set. The voice apps like Skype are partly made for mics. To round it up yes you can use this particular headset for Skype and other related apps.

    P.S:
If you are unsure on whether or not the Earphones/Remote/Mic will work on some apps, just check on the requirements that are located on the right hand side down the bottom of every app on the App Store.
