Every laptop I've bought since, I've used the Nifty Drive as my Time Machine backup system. It works so well and as long as you tell it not to backup music and film files you have enough space. I also like that you can encrypt a microSD card when working on client data and then swap it out for another clients MicroSD card. I now don't feel so bad for not buying the large memory on my MacBook Pro when ordering it, as I can expand the MacBook Pro to have enough memory always.

You will need to buy a MicroSD card holder, if you use more than one card like myself.

Its best feature is that it fits in perfectly with the rest of the laptop. It has the same aluminium finish as the rest of the case and slots in perfectly. It comes in a neat looking box along with a hook that lets you take the drive out.

  • What a 'nifty' idea!

Its a great idea because I never use the SD card slot and the design of this makes it look like it's not even there... what a brilliant idea by the designers!! Well done and totally worth the money.
