I use it to play the new Monster Hunter game and its perfect. It currently doesn't work for FIFA 14 but I hope it works for the new FIFA. It fits in the hands so easy and buttons are easy to press. As a gamer of 25 years (I'm 39) I've been following these controllers for a while. I'm glad I opted for the stratus, it's small...really small but comfortable and has all the buttons you need. It comes with a case which clicks on the back to fill out the controller. On a full charge I get about 8-10 hours.
Now why 4 stars?
It doesn't pair as quick or reliable as say an xbox controller, saying that it pairs in roughly 30 secs but can take up to a minute and this needs to be fixed.
All in all this is a small issue and my overall experience has been superb and now I really hope apple release an App Store for the Apple TV.

It's been a bit half-hearted, so much so that many games which could support it don't, or have half baked support (I'm looking at you Call of Duty).
I am a big fan of ipad games done correctly. The immediacy and convenience is just perfect for a busy lifestyle. I have loads of games installed on my ipad and, although many have clever control setups, the control offered by a physical controller can make a game easier or more enjoyable.
I have been holding out to see how the MFI programme develops but gave in to temptation one day when I was walking past my local Apple store and decided to buy a Steelseries Stratus controller in white.
I have read a number of quite unflattering reviews of these controllers and have decided to put the opposing case having used it for a while.
Although the controller is small I found it quite easy to use, especially if you fit the plastic cover on the bottom to give it a bit of extra depth, connection is quick and simple (it connected to both my ipad and iPhone, no problems at all).
Inside the box you get a cover to protect the sticks when taking it out with you, and a zipped cloth bag to put it in, also a micro USB charge cable.
Layout wise think of the controller works like a mini xbox or ps3 controller.
I was a bit worried about the build quality of some of the buttons when I first got it, but having hammered it for a while it is holding up without any complaints thus far.
Moving onto games, MFi support done well like in Oceanhorn, are a joy to use and the controller transforms the games. I've played hours on this with the Stratus, no disconnections, no problem, Those done poorly can be a pain, eg. call of duty can a be a pain to start off (eg you don't know it's connected as the Stratus doesn't show any player led lit), though once you've got it working it does work fine.
Finally price. If it were a bit cheaper it would be perfect (and an equivalent xbox 360 controller is cheaper, but not Bluetooth). What you do get though is a high quality USB charge lead (much better than say Panasonic now bundle with their expensive digital cameras these days), a cover/ base (which I had no problem fitting on the top or the bottom of the device), and a neat touch of a carry bag. You also get an extremely portable gaming controller - not ideal for those with excessively big hands, but perfect for me and my backpack!! …
