I'm on my second one of these. First one the cable split after a few months , second one had a message come up after a month sayin I'm on my second one of these. First one the cable split after a few months , second one had a message come up after a month saying it's NOT an apple recognised product. It then started to work on and off before it stopped altogether. Shame on apple for selling these if this is the case. Luckily a friend had there's cable with them or I'd have been without a charge. Had this less than 2 months !,,
