At last I have a bluetooth wireless keypad to go with the Apple wireless keyboard. IMHO it's about a 95% match - the texture of the aluminium is slightly different from the Apple keyboard and trackpad, which is a tad annoying. More annoying is the fact that unlike the Apple products it sits next to there is no battery level indication in the bluetooth menu. I'm not sure whether there is a way of making this happen. I can't figure this out because - at the time of writing - there is no user guide available. The Belkin UK web site is appalling - it sends you around in an endless loop of no information - perhaps because it's a brand new product? So I've dropped a star because it is not a 100% match and another for the lack of battery level indication. For £50 I expect it to be bang on!
Bottom line, though, if you have a need for it get it - just don't be as pedantic as me :-) …

Does what it says on the tin
I'm not sure why the low reviews so far. The product match to the apple keyboard is near perfect. Connecting via bluetooth fine. T I'm not sure why the low reviews so far. The product match to the apple keyboard is near perfect. Connecting via bluetooth fine. The function is great. As a graphic designer I can move it away when using the mouse for long periods and avoid RSI which a long keyboard was giving me. The when I need to work more with type I can put the extension next to the main keyboard and have all the really useful keys which don't appear on the main board. As an experienced mac user for the last 18 years it works for me. …

The battery level is not visible in the Bluetooth menu on the menubar.
If you are thinking of using the (excellent) TwelveSouth MagicWand to attach this pad to your wireless keyboard (to make one unit) you will need to cut a piece of the width of the wand. This is due to the fact that there's a bulge on the bottom of the keypad which prevents the wand sliding on to it comfortably.
After a long time of non-use the keypad may miss the first one or two keystrokes - it switches to standby mode to save battery and sometimes takes a second or two to come back to life.
When it does respond again a message on screen confirms.
I have used the TwelveSouth wand to attach the keypad to my standard wireless Mac keyboard.
It now looks almost identical to the wired extended Mac keyboard but I don't have the wires !
A bonus is that now you will have a "delete to the right" key. Great ! …

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - BUY THE APPLE EXTENDED KEYBOARD INSTEAD
After a year or so of trying to use this with any kind of consistency in an office environment I have chucked it in the bin and or After a year or so of trying to use this with any kind of consistency in an office environment I have chucked it in the bin and ordered the Apple Extended Keyboard - wouldn't even sell it on Ebay as I would feel guilty palming it off on someone else. Constantly loses signal, constantly won't connect, constantly connects but won't work, constantly links to other computers in the office by itself, works maybe 40% of the time, painfully slow typing. Please do not waste your money! Unfortunately I have had to give it one star in order to post this scathing review. …
