You could use the line in from the headphone jack on your iMac for sure, as far as doing it wirelessly from Airplay to enable that, go to the System Preferences and then to sound, then click the output tab and choose the B&W's from the list of available outputs. …More

As long as it is in sleep mode, and not standby mode, it will detect music coming from your network. Because it stays connected to the network in sleep mode, it will use more power when set up this way. …More
