Within the first year, I lost all sound in one ear, despite looking after them very well. Becuase they were in warrantly, Bose kindly replaced them free of charge. However, the EXACT same thing happened to the new pair a few months later, and this time, becuase the warranty (for some reason) ran from the original purchase, they refused to replace them. A friend of mine had the same problem with his, too. I asked about repairs only to be told that "It would cost more for us to repair them than to produce a new pair". If I'm spending £300 on a pair of headphones, I expect them to last years, rather than months, and I also expect a repair service, particularly if they are cheaply made in China (which these are).
The sound IS good, don't get me wrong. But not that good. They often sound a little muddy in the bass frequencies. I replaced these with a pair of the AIAIAI studio headphones and I have never looked back, but if I wanted noise cancelling I would go Seinhesser. Don't waste your money on these. …

Very happy with the decision although obviously they are very expensive....but if you want amazing sound I doubt these will disappoint. Pro-s: Sound is perfect - amazing really - bass is spot on. Noise cancelling really does work and they are extremely comfortable even over long periods. (the 15's made me feel a bit odd after a while?..but these don't). Great to have on when out and about and the weight and build quality of them is top notch. You don't feel too silly wearing them whereas some of the other options I felt were too obtrusive to be seen in public. Con's: Only the price - but they get better value the longer you have them and I expect these to last a long time. …

Sound is decent, Price is high, Cable WAY TOO LONG
For years I couldn't understand why people would pay this much for headphones but on an impulse at the airport I bought some. Batt For years I couldn't understand why people would pay this much for headphones but on an impulse at the airport I bought some. Battery doesn't come fully charged so that was a waste of money at the time, and the purpose for which I was buying them... But at any rate, I think they are great sounding headphones.
MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that these are marketed towards the iPhone/iPod/iPad crowd AND YET the cable is 6ft long! This is beyond idiotic in my opinion. And being a proprietary connector, to this date Bose does not sell a shorter cable! Three stars for this oversight. I'm not normally a complainer but it really affects my enjoyment of this product. The extra cable is constantly getting tangled in things and I've tried cable spools and the like but that just adds more unnecessary bulk to the mix.
BOSE, HOW HARD IS IT TO SELL A SHORTER CABLE? COME ON ALREADY! …

Bose quietcomfort 3
Have to say these are the best set of headphones I've ever owned. I already owned a set of Bose in ear headphones before purchasin Have to say these are the best set of headphones I've ever owned. I already owned a set of Bose in ear headphones before purchasing, so I knew how good their products were. I tried 20+ different sets before making my mind up & eventually it came down to a straight choice between Bose quietcomfort 3 & quietcomfort 15. I demonstrated both at my local Bose store. Admittedly the qc 15 does supply a better quality of noise cancelation simply due to the fact that they sit over ear but for me the quality was not soooooo superior. The qc3 are more comfortable to wear & sounded way better. I listen to a lot of metal so like the volume cranked up. For me the qc3 gave an all round better sound & add the fact that they are smaller & more compact & include a rechargeable li on battery as opposed to the replaceable aaa of the qc15. For me the choice was easy. …

I bought these headphones in October 2012 and they already don't work. I need to get them replaced with my warranty. I spent £300 I bought these headphones in October 2012 and they already don't work. I need to get them replaced with my warranty. I spent £300 on these and find this outrageous.
Don't get me wrong these are not bad headphones because the sound deafening really works well. The acoustics aren't that great and seem a bit artificial, not crystal clear as you'd expect. Every time you use them you need to recharge the sound deafening battery otherwise they wont work without it. There seem to be some serious reliability issues with it because I read on other reviews that there headphones also stopped working.
Dont' waste your money on these!! THIS PRODUCT IS FLAWED just get something else with better sound quality and reliability. …
