Overview
The iTrip DualConnect has user-selectable stereo and mono modes; programmable presets so you can save the most useful FM frequencies for quick recall. And the Griffin SmartSound technology optimizes the signal for the best sound.
For car stereos with an auxiliary audio port, iTrip DualConnect has an AUX jack, so you can either use iTrip's FM transmitter to send your music wirelessly to your car radio or connect your iPhone or iPod touch directly to your car stereo. Illuminated buttons on the iTrip charger give you play, pause, forward and back track controls you operate by touch.
Control iTrip and set it up quickly and easily using the iTrip Controller App (available from the App Store). Setup is simple - press the SmartScan button, then tune your car radio to the frequency that SmartScan finds for you.

Better than expected ...
Initially I was sceptical and assumed that static noise would kill every music form but reggae, however, with some experimentation and tuning to 87.6 FM I found a frequency that had no static. I was eventually able to listen to Bach keyboard music satisfactorily while rumbling along the highway at 130kph. I would emphasise that some patience is required to fully enjoy this product. Money wasted
I wanted so badly to buy something able to play my iphone music on my car that have pretended not to read all the negative reviews I found on the US Apple website. I have tried the product in rural as well as urban areas and it simply won't allow you to hear any decent sound. However if you are prepared to spend 40 quid on a car charger, go ahead and buy. It doesn't work as sound device. Period. …

Nice product that does exactly what I need.
Only wanted this for Aux connection and simple scroll of songs whilst hiding phone from view. Well made, fits perfectly in ashtray power supply and doesn't flash needless lights at you. …

I-trip
If you are expecting high quality sound you will probably disappointed unless you live somewhere with extremely low fm frequency c lutter. That said I am happy with what I have got as this is the only way I have of connecting my iPhone to my existing car stereo. The sound quality is fine for me and I would rather have the ability to listen to tunes than not. Being able to pause/play and skip and rewind through tracks without having to pick up my phone and do it is a bonus as well. Much safer. …
