The Scosche myTREK Wireless Pulse is a heart rate monitor that easily attaches to your forearm for full wireless communication with your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS or 3rd or 4th-generation iPod touch. No troublesome chest straps or wires needed. Its built-in dual LED/optical sensors deliver real-time pulse monitoring.

Establish your goals

Using the personal health information you've entered, the free myTREK App displays each workout zone in a different colour. You can personalise your training sessions by adjusting the type of activity, target training zone and type of workout within the App.

Track all your workouts

The integrated calendar feature lets you keep records of stats from previous workouts such as pulse, calories burned, distance, speed, pace, workout duration and overall progress.*

Control your music and stay motivated

Motivational voice prompts guide you through your workout and help keep you in your target training zone. Control your music while you workout with the integrated buttons on the Scosche myTREK Wireless Pulse Monitor: volume up/down, play/pause and previous/next track.

    if it works its good but getting it to work :(

    Sync`s to the phone with no problems but then 10 to 20 mins into your workout it loses its connection you then spend 10 minutes trying to get it to resync only for it to fail again and again. I perservered with this for 2 weeks and then realised you cant return it as its over the 14 day period (thanks apple).

    My verdict it would be good if it could retain its connection but it becomes so frustratiing when it doesnt stay connected, dont bother investing in it not fit for purpose     …More

    As per other reviews I have read from the US, when it works well it is great; less than two weeks old and it only works for 10 to 15 mins before losing the connection to my iphone 4S. Tried rebooting the phone, the monitor and both, but to no avail so I got my money back. …More

    What a shame, the monitor and strap looks and feels good BUT the App crashes, the various controls do not work and even the calendar is wrong! If only the monitor could be paired with a Garmin or something similar. Surprised the App has got through Apple's quality control! …More

    I've had the myTrek for just over a week and have used it 6 times - each time for just over an hour and have had no issues with connecting to the mobile app. I even used it while playing 5 aside football, while my phone was in my pocket (risky I know!) and it worked fine. Only thing I would say is the app is basic and could do with a few more features such as in the nikerun devices where you can sync to a web site and get a bigger picture of how you are doing.     Having read the other reviews I must be very lucky as I have never had a issue with this not connecting. I go for bike rides lasting well over an hour and it has always been connected whether in the back ground or not. I even use bluetooth headset with it and also have bike maps running in the foreground and it always stays connected recording my data. …More
