Does what it says on the tin.
Pro's:
• length - at 3m/10ft it's really useful, filling a variety of needs.
• toughness - thickness (16 AWG: about 2x normal c able) makes it stronger.
• quality - the 2 ends feel sturdy and not easily breakable.
• versatile - nearly all iDevices: most iPod range, all iPhones, all iPads.
• iPad - carries 2.1 amp, for wall & car charging (using 2.1 power sources).
• iPhone 4 bumper - compatible, fits in bumper gap for sync & charging.
Con's:
• weight - with bulk comes weight to get toughness, though not too bad.
• price - £30 still feel lots for a cable (like me, if poss, buy in US to save a ⅓).
In summary, a good idea really, as it can be used across many Apple portable devices, and the quality is pretty good.
Would recommend if you need the length and can accept the price (currently around double the 1m/3ft standard Apple cable's price, when you buy those separately), hence a star deducted.
Definitely worth purchasing, so much so, one wonders why Apple don't do longer ones themselves. …- Written by James S from Hove

Can't fault the product, but...
Very nice quality cable with good, solid connectors. However, it doesn't seat well on an iPad 2, due to there being quite a bit of inexplicable forward/backward play when you plug it in. Despite the connector being almost identical to a genuine Apple one, I'm unable to replicate the problem with the original cable. I'm reluctantly returning mine and waiting for a product that's updated for iPad 2. …

stupid design
it charges my iPad without any problem, even with the case on. but to charge to my iPhone i have to remove the bumper, which is a pain to be doing every time i need to recharge. it's a shame as it's such a close fit, but just not close enough! i wouldn't recommend this product for iPhone …
