Do any of these Optoma models support the iPad? If so, does it mirror the iPad display? I want to be able to show Numbers and other programs.

Yes, the PKA21 is compatible with iPad using the enclosed licensed Apple Connection Kit. Most video content being displayed on the iPad can be projected. Some applications cannot be projected due to the type of file it is save in. The PKA21 supports many types of image and video files (including AVI, MOV, MP4, 3GP, JPEG & BMP), and also support for Apple users at optomausa.com site under the support tab for pico. …More

- 11-Nov-2011
Answer
You will need to connect both Apple TV and an iPad to the PKA21 using HDMI cables. Airplay is not available to play video on the projector.
Apple TV has an HDMI output so you will need a standard HDMI to mini HDMI cable. You can get one from Optoma. For the iPad, you can get a digital AV adapter from the Apple store and the same HDMI cable will work. …More- Answered by Walter M from Fremont

Best Answer
Yes. The PKA21 has MFI and WWI licensing and will also work with the new iPad. Suggested connectivity to iPad is via the 30-pin iPod/iPhone connector included in the box. The 30-pin provides better performance than using a DVI to VGA adapter. …More
