    This is superb!

    After reading the only other review on here I decided to take a risk - i'm so glad I did!!
    I have only recently got my iphone 4s (which took a while before i could say i really like after my previous blackberry bold) and I like to have some grip on the surface of the phone, along with some protection. I fitted a speck skin, which is really good and is not too cumbersome. I tried a couple of cheap windscreen holders and found them too bulky, not rigid enough or i had to remove the skin too put phone in. When the griffin arrived I was surprised, especially with the method of attaching to the screen, not the usual sucker but a square film. I cleaned the screen first, used a hairdryer to warm the film and screen up, then carefully attached to screen and squeezed out any air. Result is a strong non-bulky holder which phone easily goes in and out of, and can be used in situ - with skin!! …More

    Liked the look of this product. Looks and feels great.

    However, when it came to sticking the thing to my windscreen it was apparent that this product was deemed to fail from the start. The 'rectangular plastic sucker strip' seemed impossible to attach without getting air bubbles forming around the plastic part that attached to the centre of it. This is a big floor as these air bubbles meant that the unit as a whole was not as steady as it should be. The 'sucker strip' was also so thin, that after a couple of attempts of attaching it there were creases which formed, meaning you could never get rid of the air bubbles which formed in this creases.

    There are much better products out there, and i expected more from a kit sold by apple themselves.     …More

    Great Idea, could be improved

    Firstly, there are no issues with sticking this where you want, it's easy.

    Secondly, the supplied mic cable is quite short, so I couldn't fix it into my VW van input without having the phone a full arms reach away, which meant that people I spoke to found it tinny and hard to hear. I could hear them perfectly though.

    I'll have to buy and extension lead to situate it closer to me, so I'm disappointed about that. Hopefully it's not an issue to do with the mic, and it will pick up my vocals better then.     …More

    The worst Griffin product ever

    I wish I could rate this item zero stars - it doesn't deserve one star and is without doubt the worst product that Griffin have ever manufactured / sold. This item has clearly been designed to replace the previous version with the sucker / mounting cup which was brilliant. The flimsy (not sticky) patch of plastic that is supposed to stick to your windscreen doesn't stick and looks dreadful. A pity really as Griffin products are normally excellent.

    I have to otterbox commuter case and it fit with a bit of extra room so it might be a tight fit but it should fit. It will definitely fit length wise because it adjusts that way. Try it out in store first though just in case. …More
