Works well, if original mpeg file is truly MPEG compliant including sound
I bought this codec, when i switched from PC to Mac and my originally encoded family videos wouldn't play within Quicktime. Initia lly disappointed because I had no sound. The MPEG movies need to be true MPEG, including the sound track not AC3. I was also disappointed because video which looked fine on the PC had horrible interlacing problems when viewed in Quicktime. So after many attempts at re-encoding the original movies on the PC with non-interlacing selected, I eventually perfected the format required to play correctly on the Mac. So essentially, no fault with the Codec itself, £15 is just about acceptable I suppose. …

Zero stars but I'm being forced to give one! …
