sound dock

I would like to buy a sound dock for my iphone 3g but there doesnt seem to be much around that is completely compatible. I don't want to have to put my phone in Airplane mode as it defeats the purpoe of the purchase of the iphone. Can you suggest some brands and models numbers that range arount the AU$200 mark?
