    If you prefer HDMI just get a lightening to HDMI converter. Although the Aple TV method is very cool and you also have all the other benefits of an Apple TV.

  • The best option, if you ask me, is to get a 3rd gen Apple TV to hook it up to your HDTV and watch videos and pretty much everything else from your iPhone through AirPlay (AirPlay Mirroring). That's how I do it and it's simple, easy and works like a charm every single time.
