how about if I used it on my itouch 4th gen for a long time is it still removable? if is it, is there any effects/defects on the screen

the screen protector will not damage your screen, even if left on there for a REALLY long time. the adhesive on the screen protector is not strong enough to damage the screen, and it peels off without leaving any residue.
