Apple iPhone 4 Bumper - White

• Poor Quality, poor design, over priced…

  This bumper does its job, it boosts the signal, acts as a buffer if the phone is dropped and helps in stopping general wear and te ar - however there are some serious design flaws in design and materials
  
  Due to the nature of white i expected the bumper to mark reasonably quickly but having used it for 3 days I already feel embarrassed taking it out of my pocket. Its already filthy attracting every possible stain, especially the dye from dark denim.
  
  The thickness of the bumper also means that only certain types of headphones and accessories can be used with it, so my €150 apple store bought headset is unusable.

  For a few weeks I loved this case, especially as I got it for free with Apple's case program. Then it started to peel at the botto m and now the rubber has torn significantly. Because of this, I took it off for a while. It wasn't long until I noticed the bumper had caused moderately visible marks on my phone. They look like they have rubbed of a layer of some sort, leaving a slightly shinier area. They appear in all areas where the case makes contact, including around the side, and a lot of them around the sleep button. I shall be returning the case for a replacement and mentioning the scratches to Apple at the Apple Store. Google "damage iphone 4 bumper" for images other people have uploaded.   This product costs too much and last less than a year. I am very careful with my phone, always placing it in a separate pocket to everything else, usually in my coat. Yet, even given these circumstances, this thing has split and broken.

  I've spent lots of money on inexpensive cases for my white iPhone 4s, and they've all had their problems and ended up being abando ned. They deform or they discolour (or both), or they just frankly spoil the look of your lovely white phone. So far I love this bumper. It looks really stylish, and the metal buttons are very classy. It's rigid and I can't see how it will deform. So far I've had no discolouration (which means it's already beaten my last Hard Candy case). This isn't really designed to protect your phone, but rather to make it easier to hold (we all know the iPhone is a terribly slippery beast) whilst also looking gorgeous.
