    M-Audio Keystudio 49 USB MIDI Controller

    This keyboard works perfectly with Garageband and Logic Pro on OS X but it also works with programs like Mixcraft and Sony ACID on the PC. The keyboard itself is satisfyingly heavy yet the keys feel quite plasticy to play with and have a weird amount weight in them; making it feel like they are attached to the board itself with rubbery chewing gum. I also found that the lack of a sustain pedal made it awkward turning pages. The pitch and modulation knobs work well and it really is plug and play. I would reccomend this product to people on a budget or people who are starting of in music but to the more experienced players, I would reccomend buying an electric piano that has a USB, Firewire or MIDI connection on it for about £500 for a good one. …More

    An amazing MIDI Controller!

    This is such a minimalistic, yet very effective midi controller. The keys are effective, and do not feel too plastic such as many out there today. The touch response is very good, and the controllers on the left side of the device are useful, quick and easy to access.

    I would buy this again and again - in fact I have purchased 30 for my school Music Department - absolutely fantastic device, and works amazingly with Mac Pros and iMacs.     …More
