    Hi, this is a simple to use great little holder, the windscreen suction is really strong and not only does it work with my iPhone my husband can use it with his mobile phone and iPod. All you do is pull out the feet and press the blue button on the back to release the arms and then push them in so it fits your device.

    Too much wobble

    The car mount does hold the iPhone very firmly so there is no easy way for the phone to fall out of the cradle, and the mechanism does swivel allowing the iPhone to rotate so you can view videos horizontally.

    However the main problem with this mount is that when driving its just not sturdy enough it shakes and wobbles around so much that it actually becomes a distraction rather than an aid, even if you reduce the length of the neck by creating a series of bends.

    You really need a fixed mount similar to the TomTom GPS holders as they are very sturdy.

    I bought this from the Apple Store having asked if it would take my iPhone 4S with a Mophie Air. The fit was tight, but the plastic lugs were broken off the mount. Rang for a refund, got it straight away without returning the mount. Brilliant Apple service, poorly designed mount. …More

    Don't waste your money.

    The arm is far too long which allows the phone to swing around and vibrate over rough surfaces. It would be ok for a lorry driver who need the extra reach, but in a car (even a Landrover) it's just too clumsy. If it was two thirds the length (or even less), it would be much better. There is no directional adjustment on the cradle. Although it swivels 360* allowing use in Portrait or Landscape, any other adjustment has to be done by bending the arm, which then gets bent out of shape and starts to look dreadful. The bottom 'rests' are a joke and once the charger is plugged in, unless the lead is perfectly vertical, the bottom of the phone vibrates away from the holder and ultimately into your lap. Considering the money we pay for Apple products, the least they can do is come up with quality accessories. …More

    As every product has its good points and bad points I won't slate this product, however as mentioned by other members once attached to the windscreen the phone does shake considerably due to the length of the 'arm'. On the other hand the suction cup is phenomenal though, very difficult to get off! There is a small rubber tab though that I discovered if you pull that it releases the air and makes it easier to take off. Personally I wouldn't recommend this product, yes the suction is really good but the shaking does counteract that. …More
