Very good
A quality product that works really well, although rather expensive for what it is! Need something similar to protect the back of the iPad, which is, in my view, more prone to scratches and scuffs than the screen. …

Cool design, good functionality.
I have a blue polyurethane cover and it works fine. You can fold it to a triangular shape when it works as a stand. You do need to clean it with a good household cleaner to keep it looking bright. But, please, detach it from your iPad first. If you pick up your iPad by the cover and shake it then the iPad will fall and could be damaged. But, hey, why would anyone on the planet do that? I would buy one for Xmas, it is a cool design. …

Good cover
I bought this in march 2012 with my new ipad, (having kept my 1st gen in an annoying sleeve that i often misplaced) mainly to prot ect the screen, and of course as a stand it works brilliantly but after about 6 months the magnet holding it to the iPad became quite temperamental sometimes it sticks really well, other times I can stand it up by folding the case and the magnet will fall right off and the iPad falls to the table, (of course I am wise to this so am careful about it) I also have found the nice silver bevel around my 3rd gen iPad getting a bit scratched and the back a little marked, so I bought a clear silicon skin off amazon to protect the rest of it. Also if your prone to getting things dirty the grey colour is not advisable since mine has become very dirty, going to order one in black soon, however I have not experienced the spiltting people have mentioned and I don't lift the device by the case since its only magnets holding the hefty device. …

A good iPad accessory
Having used a white iPad 2 in conjunction with a grey Smart Cover for the past two months now, I must say they are a good combinat ion in terms of ergonomics and colour. I don't need to explain the various uses stated in the product description for the Smart Cover but for a person like me who likes to make videos now and often, it acts as a good make-shift tripod-esque product for the iPad. However, with its awesome uses and cool design, it is starting to split a little in the bottom left corner but this is due to the fact I put it in a bag virtually everyday as I am a student, so that is my fault.
However, this is another great Apple accessory and worth the money. …- Written by Marcus B from Milton Keynes

as the i pad 2 has magnets in it can you use it if you have a pacemaker.

As a cardiac nurse I do believe the magnets that are used to activate or deactivate a pacemaker/defi brilator are a different type of magnet than those that would be easily purchased in a store. Furthermore the magnets on this case are too low of a quality to do any damage. One of the Cardiologists that comes to the hospital has one of these and he takes it into pts rooms, some of who have pacemakers, and it hasn't interferred with the pacemaker or our telemetry so far. But if you are still worried, don't go around with it laying on your chest. …

There is not a cover but there is a case that does pretty much the same thing. Just make sure if you get the case that you do not buy the smart case because that will not work with the original iPad. …
