Reviews for Apple EarPods with Remote and Mic

I have always had a love/hate relationship with in-ear headphones. I loved the clarity of the music and the quality of the sound. I hated the fact that it would constantly fall out of my earphones and the fact that I couldnt hear anyone else talking.These however sound amazing, I can hear people around me, and they dont fall out! I always wanted a headphone to have quality sound like the in-ear headphones deliver but have the same comfort as the iPod headphones. These are perfect for me!

I dont know why these are getting such good reviews. They came with my iPhone 5. I couldn't find my Sony's one day so i figured i would give them a shot. I didn't know Apple had managed to make plain plastic earbuds MORE uncomfortable. They have zero weight so they don't hang properly in your ear and the sound is thin and hollow. These have zero redeeming value, not even as a backup pair. I would give 0 stars but that isn't an option.

Love the headphones, quite comfy and sound great. However, this is the first Apple product I have ever received without getting a couple logo stickers. Disappointing, but the nifty headphone case they come in makes up for it.

I am a retired baby-boomer and may not know a lot about high tech listening, but got the EarPods today and after supper plugged them into my iPad to listen to "oldies music." WOW! I don't want to take them out to go to bed. Now I know why the younger generation seems to always be absorbed in their music and electronic devices. The 50's and 60's never sounded so good.

The fit is going to be a person by person basis, but the shape feels fine if you're sitting down not moving. I used them on my commute and each step I took, the pod wiggled and kept popping out of my ear. The plastic is too smooth and need to be more rubberized to actually stay in your ear, especially since they "looked at all these ears" for it to fit best.

The sound is good, but if you need a new pair, look elsewhere...only use if you get them free with your iPhone/iPod, etc.

Bought these on a whim as I was interested in how they actually stacked up against premium headphones. From the first note I heard through them I was instantly impressed, as has been everyone who has tried them and compared them with the previous, and awful, offering from Apple. Also had a chance to compare these with some in-ear Dre Beats...and me nor the owner of the beats could discern a noticeable difference between the two. Fully recommended; replace your old Apple headphones now!!!!! Minor point, the mic remote feels a much better build now too, more rounded and sturdy.

I have never been a fan of stock apple headphones. These on the other hand are a completely different story! They have a great design that literally fits directly in your ear without moving around and falling out. Awesome sound quality is something you usually don't get with stock headphones, nor inexpensive headphones, but again these have it! Basically what I'm saying is, if you try these out there really is no turning back. They just make your music sound better.

Just recently I lost my Bose headphones. I didn't feel like paying over 100$ again for another pair so I decided to go the cheaper route and buy the new apple stock earpods. As soon as I put them in I could feel a difference in quality. They're no Bose but I would compare the sound quality close to headphones costing between 50 to 80 dollars. Apple finally did its job in creating a quality stock headphone.

1st of all, reviews are supposed to be sharing personal experiences with a certain products and not about ridiculing other people if their experience isn't similar to yours. with that out of the way, these ear pods came with my iPhone 5 purchase. they pretty much held up well. doesn't fall off from my ear and they definitely sound way better than it's predecessor. I'm asian and maybe i have a smaller ear. But for me these earpods are worth it and definitely an upgrade.

So these are better in every way EXCEPT for one and it's a pretty major one as it's the only reason is use earbuds. For PHONE CALLS! People always tell me they don't here my voice as clear as they normally did when I were these. I wish they could bring back the old mic with the new designed speakers and fit... :(

The mic is inside the plastic or somewhere you can't even see it so it's no wonder people find it harder to hear me!
