You can't have the case fully on. You would need to fold the case a little away to the other side of the ipad.

No, you cannot use the ipad in landscape because the way that the ipad stays in the dock is the 30 pin dock connector and there is only one on the bottom.

No, the iPad will be charging or syncing (if you have opened up the iTunes application on the desktop) the Dock does the exact same thing hooking the iPad to your computer via the provided 30-pin USB cord does, it just stands it up while doing it.

Till now i couldn't figure out a way to do so. i hope apple would do something about that because it is disappointing not to include such a feature !

It will work but please note that the cover will not lay flat on the iPad2 screen when in the dock. You can get the edge corners to close in order to put the device to sleep. I had to press the bottom right corner to make the needed contact.

No. You can use the USB cable that came with your iPad.

You could try the Camera connection kit which will allow the iPad 2 to connect to some USB devices - this is not really what it was meant for, but it may support reading correctly formatted videos and images from a USB device such as a hard disk attached through the camera connection kit.

The camera connection kit uses the standard 30 pin connector so could be plugged into this dock although you would not be able to use that and charge your iPad 2 at the same time

This is it. You have the dock to keep it upright (so you can FaceTime), you have a charging 30-pin thing, and you have an aux socket for plugging into the stereo or speakers
